About Me
Hi, I’m Sarah
I’m a Level 3 Personal Trainer specialising in supporting perimenopausal and menopausal women to age well. I want you to feel great at this time of your life. I genuinely believe that strength training shouldn't feel like a chore - it can be enjoyable, done in a beautiful environment with someone who truly understands the challenges and can help you through them.
My Holistic Approach
Navigating menopause and beyond successfully requires looking at the whole picture. That is why my coaching blends targeted strength training with realistic guidance on clean nutrition and lifestyle wellness. As an advocate for clean beauty, I also believe that what we put on our bodies matters just as much as how we move them. I’m a proud Tropic Ambassador, and you can explore more about Tropic products here.
From a Corporate Career to my Health Overhaul
For years, my life was defined by the corporate world, most recently as Head of Customer Comms for HSBC. When I hit 49, menopause arrived with a vengeance. It started with disruptive night sweats and quickly progressed to grumbly joint issues and sudden moments of brain fog- which wasn't pleasant when trying to recall the names of my team.
I knew I needed a complete lifestyle shift, so I dug into the research and overhauled my daily routine:
Medical & Supplements: I found immediate relief from night sweats by balancing transdermal HRT (Oestrogel) with a clean, high-performance daily supplement stack from Ancient + Brave (their plant-based Omegas mean no fishy burps first thing in the morning!) and BioCare’s Menopause Multi-nutrient.
Skin Health: I completely resolved frustrating mid-life skin flare-ups (milia) by switching to Tropic Skincare, and I loved the results so much I became a proud Tropic Ambassador.
The Game Changer: I stepped away from exhausting, frantic cardio classes and anchored my fitness around lifting weights 3 to 5 times a week. The transformation was incredible - my stubborn joint pain vanished, I gained muscle definition, and most importantly my energy levels skyrocketed.
What 'Ageing Well' Means to Me
When I talk about wanting to age well, I’m not visualising being a certain weight or dress size. To me, it’s about how I feel in my own skin and enjoying beautiful, simple moments of everyday British life.
It’s about physical capability. It’s knowing that:
I can breeze through the supermarket run, comfortably lifting heavy bags of shopping out of the car boot without a second thought or a twinge in my back.
I’m investing in my physical wellbeing now so that if I’m lucky enough to have grandchildren running around the park one day, I can throw myself right into the middle of their games, chase after them, and get up off the grass with ease.
I never have to sit out of life’s adventures. Whether it's a spontaneous family walk across the hills, travelling somewhere new, or trying a completely unfamiliar activity, I want the strength, balance, and physical confidence to say an immediate ‘Yes’.
Lifting weights in my studio isn't about rewriting the clock; it’s about building the physical confidence you need to enjoy everyday life to the absolute fullest.
To ensure I can provide the highest standard of safe, evidence-based coaching for mid-life bodies, I have backed my personal experience with formal, industry-leading education:
Professional Qualifications & Credentials

Client Story – How we overcame a fear of free weights
“I’d been doing weights for a while, but I wasn’t entirely sure I was progressing. I’d avoided free weights because, with my history of various injuries, I was fairly convinced I’d end up breaking myself!
I wanted to get stronger partly to help prevent more injuries, partly for bone density and long-term health and, let’s be honest, partly because I’d quite like to look toned too.
What I’ve really liked about working with Sarah is that the sessions are completely tailored to me. She’s worked around what I enjoy, what I’m trying to achieve and even managed to sneak some boxing in, which obviously improves everything.
Most importantly, she’s given me the confidence to use free weights properly. I know she’s watching my technique, correcting me when I need it and making sure I’m actually progressing rather than just turning up and moving the same weights around forever.
I feel much more confident now that I’m training in a way that will actually make me stronger, rather than just hoping for the best.”
